Fletcher's Homestead House
Fletcher's Homestead is circa 1863. The original house was built in 1863
with additions at later points of time, is 3,475 square feet, and has 8 bedrooms and 8 full baths. It is wood frame
with sheathing, is heated and cooled by heat pump and has a full
crawl space. This outstanding renovation retains it's historic character
and has several fireplaces, wraparound porches, and shady trees.
There is a heated 60' Olympic pool with a bath house, fenced in
fieldstone. This side of the house and pool overlook a
23 acre lake (called The Great Lake) set in stunningly beautiful,
rolling Virginia hills. The fishing is good and it accommodates small craft.
